Thursday Mashup

First let's get Charlie's shirt out of the way: good color for once but covered in the inevitable wrinkles. He claims he ironed it this morning right before putting it on, and he's essentially a truthful person. Several theories:
- The iron was not turned on
- The iron was on, but at the wrong setting
- He's just not a very good ironer, and ironed those wrinkles in.

We enjoyed asiago fresca with crackers and jam for lunch. Charlie's pound of jam per bite is a revelation, we all agree his willowy figure is a freak of nature considering his calorie intake (his lunch also included a chicken pot pie plus some crazy cream sauce with token bits of pasta floating around). Note Charlie's HUGE paw—it got that big from a lifetime of lifting great gobs of food to that gaping maw!

Syd found this BEAUTIFUL magnolia stamen in the parking lot. It's the most amazing collection of colors and textures—velvety felt to brittle scratchy to soft fur, so delicious.
